The Raiders pulled off a come from behind, walk off win last night, 6-5 over visiting Tipton. The Raiders improve to 11-3 on the season with the win. Pinch runner Ethan Taylor stole second and third base and scored on an Ashton Renz single to give SHS the win. Renz was 3 for 3 on the night for the Raiders. Drew Fredenburg contributed to offense with a 2 for 4 on the night, scored a run and drove home 3. Fredenburg and Brandan Conyers both had doubles for the only extra base hits for the Raiders. Collin Osenbaugh was 1 for 2 with an RBI while Micah Cole and Garrett May also had knocks for SHS. Chase Osenbaugh picked up his first varsity win in relief of Fredenburg. The freshman pitched 1.2 innings and gave up 1 hit while striking out 2. Fredenburg struck out 5 while giving up 3 earned runs over 5.1 innings.
