SHS lost a heartbreaker to 2A #1 Alexandria at home on Friday, 3-2 in 9 innings. Senior Olivia Watson pitched the complete game for the Raiders, giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 9. Junior Aleyna Sharritts provided the Raiders with their only runs as she blasted a 2 run home run to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th inning. Senior Tarran Mills was 2 for 4 and scored on the Sharritts homer. Watson, Olivia Hinesley and Kaelyn Castor had the other Raider hits. The loss drops the raiders to 9-3 on the season.
