The Raiders fell to 5-2 on the season, losing last night to New Castle 14-10. SHS was their own worst enemy.....committing 5 errors and giving up 10 walks to the Trojans. New Castle also collected 10 hits off 3 Raider pitchers. Ezra Byrd took the loss, surrendering 4 runs (1 earned), 3 hits and 3 walks over the final 2 innings. The Raiders also were given 10 walks to work with and paired that with 10 hits but New Castle committed just a single error on the night. Jarrett Helman led the offense with a 3 for 3 night with 2 RBI and a run scored. Drew Fredenburg was 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored. Collin Osenbaugh was 1 for 3 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Starting pitcher Chase Osenbaugh (4 innings, 6 hits, 4 walks and 3 Ks) was 2 for 3 with a run scored and 3 RBI.
