The Raiders got another strong pitching performance from Olivia Watson in a 12-1 win at Cowan tonight. The win moves the Raiders to 4-0 overall and 2-0 MEC. For the 2nd night in a row, Watson got the 5 inning complete game win. This raised her record to 3-0. The senior gave up 3 hits and a single earned run while striking out 10. Watson got plenty of offensive help as SHS pounded out 17 hits in scoring their 12 runs. The top 4 hitters in the Raider line-up accounted for 11 of those hits. Tarran Mills, Lydia Schwagmeier, and Aleyna Sharritts were all 3 for 4. Mills had 2 singles and a double, Schwagmeier had a single, double and a triple and Sharritts chipped in 3 singles. Gabbi Patrick had a double and a triple in her 4 at bats. Mills scored 3 times, Schwagmeier, Sharritts and Patrick each scored twice and knocked in 2. Watson added 2 hits and 2 RBI to help her own cause. The Raiders travel to Lincoln on Saturday.
