The Raider JV Boys opened their season with a pre-Thanksgiving day win over Daleville at home by a score of 50-40. The Raiders jumped out ahead after one quarter 12-9 but trailed the Broncos at the half 24-23. A strong third quarter was the difference in the game. SHS outscored Daleville 18-9 in the third and never looked back. Freshman Kaden Gray led the 3rd quarter charge, scoring 8 of his game high 19 points in the frame. Cam Elleman joined Gray in double-digits with 12 while a pair of sophomore, Jayden Painter and Ayden Musick, chipped in 9 and 8, respectively.
