The Raiders came up short in this one, losing at Greenfield Central on Wednesday 15-9. After falling behind early 4-0 and 6-1, the Raiders made a game of it with rallies in both the 4th and 5th innings. SHS scored 3 in the fourth and 4 in the 5th but the Cougars answered with a 6 spot in the fourth and 3 in the 6th. Sophomore Elayna Sharritts closed out the scoring with a solo home run in the 7th. Tarran Mills had "2-fer" night at the plate for the Raiders. The junior had 2 hits, scored two runs and had 2 RBIs. Elise Boyd had the only other extra base hit for the Raiders. She doubled, scored twice and drove home 1. Gabbi Patrick drove in a pair of runs, scored once and stole a base.
