Sophomore Drew Fredenburg scattered 4 hits over 5 innings to help the Raiders to an 8-4 win over Blue River Valley. With the win, the Raiders improved 8-3 on the season and 4-0 in Mid-Eastern Conference play. The righty struck out 5 and allowed 2 earned runs on the day. Fellow sophomore Ethan Taylor pitched the final 2 innings and struck out 3 Viking batters while giving up 2 runs. The Raiders managed just 5 hits but took advantage of 9 Viking walks. Ezra Byrd knocked in 2 runs, Maddox Davis had a hit and scored twice while Collin Osenbaugh was walked 3 times and scored twice. Kaden Randolph, Fredenburg and Garrett May had the other hits for the Raiders. Shenandoah will have a home match-up with Wapahani tonight at 5pm.
