Shenandoah High School

The Lady Raiders were set to travel to Blackford HS last night when rain drenched their field. Thus, the game was moved to Shenandoah and the Raiders came out on top 7-4, a come from behind win! Trailing 4-3 heading into the bottom of the 6th, SHS rallied for 4 runs to go up 7-4. Olivia Hinesley closed out the 7th, stranding 2 Bruins and striking out the potential tying run to end the game. Sophomore Gabby Patrick blasted a bases-loaded double in that 6th inning to give the Raiders the cushion they needed. Patrick was 2-4 and also scored a run. Tarran Mills and Elise Boyd also had 2 hit nights for the Raiders. Mills had a double and single and drove in 3 runs herself. Boyd meanwhile was 2-4, scored twice and drove in 1. Aleyna Sharritts was 1-3 and scored twice for the now 3-2 Raiders. The ladies take on Cowan tonight at home at 5:30pm (April 18).
