Raiders Drop Season Opener

By Todd Salkoski | Mar 28, 2024 2:16 PM

Shenandoah's baseball nine dropped their season opener to Lapel by a 6-1 count. The Raiders got 2 hits apiece from Drew Fredenburg and Collin Osenbaugh but no other Raider managed a base hit. Fredenburg took the loss for SHS despite giving up no earned runs. In fact. Lapel managed just 1 hit off of three Raider pitchers but benefitted from some sloppy play (5 errors) and only 1 of their 6 runs was earned. The boys will be back in action on Saturday March 30th as they host Union County in a doubleheader that starts at 11AM.
