Shenandoah's Varsity volleyball team finished 3rd in this year's Shenandoah Invitational. The Raiders won their pool by defeating Franklin County 2-0 (25-12, 25-10) and Centerville 2-0 (25-18, 25-16). SHS then competed with Lapel and North Decatur for the overall championship but fell to both squads. Lapel handed the Raiders a 0-2 loss (16-25, 14-25) and North Decatur won in 3 sets (15-25, 25-20, 10-15). The varsity is now 4-2 on the season heading into a tough week: Tuesday night the Raiders host ECC member Northeastern Wednesday the Raiders travel to Union County Thursday Shenandoah will host the Frankton Eagles All matches start with a 6pm JV match with the varsity to follow.
