Carson Wisman picked up a win for SHS in a JV game versus Monroe Central on May 7. Wisman pitched 3 innings with no earned runs and struck out 4. Hunter Michael followed and went 3.2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs while striking out 8. Kai Peavler also added a strike out versus the only batter he faced. Freshman Quinton Musick rapped 2 doubles, stole 2 bases, scored 3 runs and drove in 2 more to lead the offense. Guy Mattingly and Drayton Choate were both 2-3 as well. Mattingly drove home 2 and he and Choate both scored once. Syrus Lee added a double in 3 at bats and had an RBI.
