Shenandoah High School

The Raiders earned a split with Jay County on 5-2 with a 6-3 win in the nightcap. Winning pitcher Drake Masters gave up only a single hit over 5.1 innings while striking out 5. Chase Osenbaugh pitched the final 1.2 to earn a save. Osenbaugh also gave up a just 1 hit and struck out 2. Powering the offense was catcher Arrin Murray. The junior launched his 2nd home run of the season, a 2 run shot, that gave the Raiders an early 2-0 lead. After Jay tied the score in the 5th, the Raiders responded with a 3 run bottom of the 5th. SHS struck after 2 outs following a walk to Aiden Coffey. Jayden Campbell followed with a single, and a walk to Chase Osenbaugh loaded the bases. Senior Micah Cole then plated Coffey and Campbell with a single to left field. Masters helped his own cause as he singled and scored Osenbaugh. The Raiders managed just those four hits but also took advantage of 7 Patriot walks.
